End of the school year 2025/2026

On Saturday, we celebrated the ceremonial end of the 2025/2026 school year at the Eliza Orzeszkowa School of Languages in Stratford, London. The assembly in our orangery brought together students, parents, guests, and friends of the school, who, together with us, closed another beautiful chapter in the activities of our school community.

The ceremony began with the singing of the anthem, followed by speeches from the Directors: Ms. Agnieszka and Ms. Maksi, who thanked everyone involved in the past school year: the.

There was also a presentation of the school prepared by Ms Agnieszka S., beautiful performances by younger and older classes, as well as special awards. We would like to express special thanks to Ms Agnieszka S., who took care of the graphic and visual setting of the certificates and diplomas, giving them a beautiful, elegant and coherent form.

During the celebrations, we also presented a prestigious award – the „Polonia Parent 2026” statuette. It was received by Ms. Gabrysia, whom we heartily congratulate and thank for her presence, commitment, and support of our school community.

The pupils received bilingual certificates, and parents could enjoy refreshments in the orangery during this time. The last bell rang at 13:00, heralding a well-deserved holiday!

The heart of the celebration beat to the rhythm of the academy prepared by the youngest class, under the leadership of Ms. Karolina, with the support of Ms. Gabriela and Mr. Miłosz. Our little artists showed how much heart, work, and courage they put into this special performance, and the audience rewarded them with thunderous applause.

During the ceremony, Ms Karolina also received a special honour for having achieved 100% punctuality and 100% attendance during the past school year. This is a wonderful example of commitment, responsibility and dedication to our school community.

This year's final-year students, as they bid farewell to school, gifted the remaining pupils something invaluable: a school chronicle. This is a place where successive generations of children of Polish descent will be able to record their destinies, thoughts, and memories. A more beautiful farewell cannot be imagined.

Every child received a book prize funded by the Centre for the Development of Polish Education Abroad. We thank you for this wonderful gesture, which reminds us that Polish education abroad is not alone.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this day so special: Ms Renata for the delicious cakes, Ms Kasia for the amazing cake featuring our school’s logo, Ms Iwona for her expert support in checking the school reports, Mr Pascal for his help with the event’s logistics, Mr Marcin for his help in preparing the hall for the end-of-year ceremony, and Mr Marek for taking the commemorative photographs. We would also like to thank all the volunteers, without whom this ceremony could not have taken place.
